Learning Approaches

JFE

The JFE curriculum in the Lower Primary level places emphasis on phonological and phonemic awareness, and phonics which are foundational skills essential for early literacy development. As students progress to the Upper Primary levels, the Shared Book Approach complements this skill by promoting enjoyable reading experiences to target the teaching of the four core components of language, listening, speaking, reading and writing.

SFE

The SFE curriculum offers students valuable opportunities to develop and refine their language skills by engaging with authentic, real-world content. In addition to language acquisition, the curriculum also integrates key Information and Communication Technology (ICT) competencies into English lessons, allowing students to be prepared to navigate an increasingly digital and interconnected world.
