CHARACTER AND CITIZENSHIP EDUCATION (CCE)

Grace Orchard School’s Character and Citizenship (CCE) Education aims to develop students who are rooted in values, prepared for life, and empowered to make a difference. The school achieves this through the following programs:

  • Social and Emotional Learning (SEL) curriculum
  • Healthy and Safe Relationships (HSR) curriculum
  • School-wide Positive Behaviour Support (SWPBS)
  • Values-in-Action (VIA)
  • Individual Goal Setting
  • National Education

The CCE curriculum focuses on Social and Emotional Learning (SEL) and Healthy and Safe Relationships (HSR), helping students build social and emotional competencies: self-awareness, self-management, social awareness, relationship skills, and responsible decision-making. These competencies guide students in living out the school’s values of love, respect, responsibility, perseverance, and integrity. Through the Positive Behaviour Support Program, “Good Game, Grace Orchard”, students are encouraged to Show Respect, Be Responsible, and Have Integrity.
