SPED Teacher (Contract)

Job Description:

• Plan and carry out lessons to nurture and stimulate the development of students with special needs
• Monitor and maintain the discipline in the classes
• Provide a safe and stimulating educational environment to ensure the well-being of students
• Communicate with parents / caregivers so as to provide pastoral care and counselling helps to students
• Plan and conduct CCAs and enrichment activities as assigned
• Contribute to the assigned committee(s) in an active and constructive manner

Requirements:

• Singaporean and Permanent Resident (PR) only
• Recognised University Degree / Diploma / DISE / CISE*
• Excellent command of the English language
• Passion and commitment in guiding children to excel
• Boldness to meet challenges in a dynamic environment
• Good team player quality with personal initiative
• Strong work ethics and pleasant disposition
• Relevant experience in teaching students with autism will be an advantage

*Applicants without the necessary qualification but with relevant experience will also be considered on a case-by-case basis.

Teaching Assistant (Contract)

Job Description:

• Assist the class teacher in the preparation for daily teaching & learning activities and to present / reinforce learning concepts both in and outside school
• Provide support to class teacher so as to ensure a safe and stimulating educational environment for students
• Assist students, individually or in groups, with lesson assignments and projects
• Assist to communicate with parents / caregivers on matters relating to class students
• Plan and conduct CCAs and enrichment activities as assigned

Requirements:

• Singaporean and Permanent Resident (PR) only
• Minimum ‘O’ level academic qualification
• Good command of the English language
• Passion and commitment in guiding children to excel
• Boldness to meet challenges in a dynamic environment
• Good team player quality with personal initiative
• Strong work ethics and pleasant disposition

• Dedicated & responsible adults
• Fresh graduates are also encouraged to apply
• Those with relevant experience, but without the necessary qualifications will be considered on a case-by-case basis.

**Additional Information:

• Daily rated pay depend on relief post and applicant’s qualification / experience
• Both ad-hoc and long term relief teachers / teaching assistants are needed
• Two sessions available – AM (7.30am to 12.30pm) or PM session (12.00pm to 5.00pm)
